Kutztown Storytime Plus
When Gwen and Cole were young I used to take them to the Kutztown Storytime. It was a great activity for us because the activities were held in a library room that was separate from the rest of the library. Also, after stories and songs the librarian pulled out some toys and games and the kids enjoyed burning off a little energy during social time. While most of the time I feel like Reid gets to experience much more than Gwen and Cole did at his age, in this case I felt like he was missing out on age appropriate library storytime. So...I decided to make an appearance at the old library so my trio could enjoy a morning of fun. Gwen and Cole were the oldest children but they jumped right in and had fun singing and answering story questions. Reid was not shy and sat right next to Gwen for most of the time.
Gwen and Cole show Reid their favorite after storytime activity- rowing the boat. This activity always involves Mommy singing "Row, Row, Row your Boat" at least 15 times in a row.
"Mommy, we are ready to save the day and we got Reid dressed too"
Cole's Noodleball Experience
In the Spring 2013, Cole participated in his first organized sport by himself (Sissy was not by his side). He enjoyed playing noodleball (floor hockey with pool noodles instead of hockey sticks) with his Club Mom buddy, Pierce.
Scrimmage time.
Clowning Around
Cole is our little engineer. When things are in some kind of order, like these dinos, he is usually the one coordinating the effort.
Reid does not enjoy eating but if his buddy, Pap Pap, is eating something, he usually tries it :)
Daddy and Me Night at Preschool and Reid's Love of Dinos
On Wed. March 13, 2013, Gwen and Cole took Daddy to Daddy Night at Preschool. They were very excited to show Daddy all of the fun projects that they had made for him. As you can see, Reid did not want to be left out of the fun.
This is the first picture I have of Reid with a dino. To me it seems like he has loved dinos his whole life but maybe his love of dinos started on this day. He sure does look happy to be snuggling that TRex. Just a few months later he was able to identify "Steggy" "Triceratops" and "Trex".
Spring Rain Walks
A little rain does not stop us from enjoying the outdoors. As I tell everyone, my kids have energy and none of us can handle being inside all day long so on rainy days once the rain slows down, we head outside to search for worms and splash in puddles.
Reid got the job of holding the worms.
All ready to dig the worms a new house in the empty lot next door.
Looks like she had fun!
