Mimi and Grandpa Visit

Mimi and Grandpa came to visit the weekend of November 5th. We all went to the Lehigh Valley Zoo for the rescheduled Boo at the Zoo event. Gwen and Cole enjoyed dressing up and did well trick or treating. We also carved a pumpkin. The kids had fun helping to scoop the guts out :)

I have my fingers crossed that Grandpa has a few good pics because i'm just realizing now that I didn't take many :(

Reid is 2 Months Old!

Our little man is growing so fast! On November 3, 2011, he turned 2 months. He has been enjoying looking around, gnawing on his fist, following his brother/sister around with his eyes, smiling and cooing. He is wearing 3 month and 3-6 month clothing and size 2 diapers. He sleeps well at night, waking every 3-4 hours and even gave me a six hour stretch a few nights back.

A Snowy Halloween?!?

Who knew there would be snow on the ground for Halloween? The weekend of October 29th we enjoyed our first snow of the season. We got a good 6 inches and were extremely lucky that our electricity did not go out. Several friends of ours didn't have power for days after the storm. Andy took the big kids outside to help him shovel the driveway. Within minutes Cole was fussing because he had snow in his mittens. Gwen was happy but wanted Andy to push her down a small hill on the sled. Overall they seemed to have a fun time and daddy did get the shoveling done later!

Reid's First Halloween

One morning while the kids were at school, I did a little photo session with Reid. He was extremely smiley and giggly but it is so difficult to capture those smiles in pics!

Halloween 2011 in Breinigsville!

The morning on 10/28, we had our Club Mom Halloween Party. The kids dressed up and walked around Sarah's courtyard to trick or treat. Cole did surprisingly well with all of the kids there although he was scared of a few kids in costume.

For some strange reason, our county does Trick or Treating on the Friday before Halloween. So...on the evening of Friday, 10/28/11, we dressed the kids up to go out in the neighborhood. Our game plan was to take them to a few houses and then come home so that they could help us hand out candy. Andy took the big kids in the double stroller and I pushed Reid in his new single City Mini (his costume wouldn't allow for him to ride in his carseat). Cole informed us that he was scared within a few minutes of leaving the house so we didn't last long at all. Gwen was extremely excited and confident going up to the homes and saying "trick or treat" :)

A First and Halloween Pizza Playdate

On Thursday, October 27, 2011, Reid rolled from his belly to back. Gwen, Cole and I were there cheering him on. I'm now thinking it may have been a fluke since he hasn't performed this skill since!

we had our monthly pizza playdate with the Haupts and the Svetcovs. We hosted this go around and everyone seemed to have a great time. The kids even dressed up in their Halloween costumes so we could snap some pics (pics to come since Ryan was the one who got the best pics!).
